Bass

Bass CASEY GERMAIN is a unique singer with versatility ranging from pop ballads to opera.  Known for his rich, velvety low voice that resonates throughout multiple genres of music, he earned the Master of Music degree with the Maryland Opera Studio at the University of Maryland and previously attended the New England Conservatory of Music, where he obtained the Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance.
 

This exceptional artist made his debut with West Bay Opera as Juan Peron in Franzetti’s Corpus Evita, and subsequently appeared with the company as Count Rodolfo in La Sonnambula and the roles of both Abimélech and the Old Hebrew in Samson et Dalila.  Mr. Germain has performed with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Bel Cantanti Opera, Finger Lakes Opera, University of Maryland Opera Studio, and the New England Conservatory of Music.

He is known for roles of authority figures, including Capellio in I Capuleti e i Montecchi, Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte, Gus O’Neil in Later the Same Evening, and Officer Smith in the recent premiere of Sunder.  Germain has also been cast in other roles such as King Balthazar in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Littore in L'incoronazione di Poppea, and Colline in La bohème.

 

Casey Germain is a member of Vocal Artists Management Services’ (VAMS) Professional Artist Roster.
